A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn't part of the long-term plan. Like many international relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much larger.
The initial months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks began to feel more complicated than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt secure.
Why I Built QuartzGenuineSage
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to close that gap — practical guidance grounded in real-life in Switzerland.
